T-day in Washington D.C.

September 6, 2011 was a day that I will remember for as long as that memory is imprinted in my mind. On this day I interviewed in Washington D.C. with my recruiter and was immediately nominated for service into the CYF sector in Central/South America with a departure date of July 2012. But hindsight is 20/20.  Here is a glimpse into the applicant's perspective vs. actual experience.
