Filipino Foods

I've been debating the best way to convey to you Americans the food that I have eaten over the past 8 months and a photo post is the best option to capture the essence of what I am attempting to describe to you. Most of you know that I normally eat for enjoyment but here I have developed the type of eating patterns that borderlines eating for enjoyment and eating for sustenance. So here you are!

There are many types of noodles dishes.  The noodles are called Pansit. Of course Ramen Noodles or as I call them "Oodles of Noodles"

We eat rice everyday with almost every meal.

My favorite dishes include chicken like chicken adobo, chicken tinola, fried chicken (no picture needed!)

We eat fish also!

Filipinos love their "Dried Fish" which is fish that is sun dried and eaten at a later time with soy sauce or vinegar or even cooked into meals.

I like to eat Lumpia, they are similar to egg rolls.

My region is know for Bicol Express which is a dish with chilli and pork.
