After returning from Bangkok, I visited my PST (pre-service training) host family and stayed with them for the celebrating of New Years 2014. I had a fabulous time and it was the best decision to spend this time with them. Bringing in the new year with genuine friends and family was awesome.

Our spread for the evening, pancit, carbonara, pork, sticky rice, vegetables, fruits and other snacks. It is a tradition here in the Philippines to eat dinner late in the evening on New Years Eve. As late as 10pm the family eats as one year goes out and a new one comes in. I could not wait that long and ate earlier in the evening!!!!

What's a party without some American snacks?! Besides my kuya and ate said, Rena, get whatever you want!!!

Family time, tablets, hands, legs, smiles and all! It was such a great feeling to be around such happy people!
Another great thing about the new year is that Close of Service (COS) is right around the corner, exactly 8 months away!!!!!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for the ride! Peace and Blessings for the New Year!!
