In less than a week I have to travel to Manila and take my Graduate Record Examination, also known as the GRE! Some of you may ask, well why are you taking the GRE? You already have a master's degree in Social Work, why not just work? Well to answer that question, through my service I have rediscovered my passion for public health (behavioral health to be exact) and wish to pursue this degree before seeking a terminal degree; the PhD in Social Work. I've given this a lot of thought and I am confident about my decision to go this route! I plan to begin school in August 2015 so that I give myself enough time to re-adjust to life in the states.
